Mark Hodes, Growth, Sid Dillon
Mark has been at the forefront of autotech for over 20 years. He brings a unique perspective to autotech as an entrepreneur, founder, operator and end-user. Mark created, ran and subsequently sold ForeverCar, an autotech platform specializing in vehicle protection products. He then joined Cars.com to create a new division resulting in the acquisition of AccuTrade, a leading autotech specializing in vehicle acquisition and appraisal. After Cars.com, Mark joined the leadership team of ServiceUp, a provider of SaaS solutions to the auto maintenance and repair industry. Mark currently leads growth initiatives for a mid-sized auto dealership. In this role, Mark is reimagining the entire dealership tech stack to modernize the car buying and ownership experience.
Steve Greenfield, General Partner, Automotive Ventures
Steve has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive technology space. He started his career in 1999 selling software to car dealers and has overseen more than $1 billion in automotive technology acquisitions. Steve served as TrueCar’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, and AutoTrader.com’s Vice President of Product Management and Business Development, overseeing the acquisitions of vAuto, Kelley Blue Book, HomeNet Automotive, VinSolutions, and DealerScience. Earlier in his career, Steve served as Manheim’s Director of International Development, spearheading Manheim’s overseas investments, including establishing new joint ventures in Dubai, Istanbul and Beijing. He is the author of two books: "The Future of Automotive Retail," and "The Future of Mobility."
